I deleted images stored on my SD card about a year ago. After that, I don't use the SD card. I found the SD card still available, and I would like to know if it was possible to recover deleted images from SD Card a year ago.

It was possible to recover deleted images from SD card a year ago. Deleting the images on your SD card doesn't mean erasing the data on it, and the data of the deleted images remain on your SD card. Suppose you didn't make any changes on the SD card with the deleted images; you can recover them using Panda Data Recovery Wizard.
It is a powerful SD card data recovery software that can help you recover deleted files from SD cards under different situations, including sudden deletion, corruption, formatting, etc.
Follow the three steps below to easily recover pictures deleted from years ago:
Step 1. Install Panda Data Recovery Wizard on your computer and connect the card reader with your SD card to it.
Step 2. Choose the SD card partition that stores the deleted images, and click 'Scan' to view the deleted images list.
Step 3. Select the images you want to restore and click 'Recover' to save them in a new location.
In addition, if you have backups of the deleted images, you can retrieve them from your backups. For example, here are steps to restore the deleted images from Windows Backup:
Step 1. Go to 'Control Panel > System and Maintenance', select the 'Backup and Restore (Windows 7)' option, and click 'Restore my files'.
Step 2. Select the previous backup before you deleted the images by clicking 'Browse for files'.
Step 3. Select a safe location to save the backup by clicking 'In the following location'.
After the restoration process is finished, you can see the images in the new location you selected.
